They say good things come in small packages, and they’re right! You don’t have to be in a big group to fundraise for us! Whether you want to pursue a personal challenge or share your gifts, there are lots of ways you can fundraise alone. Here are a few ideas.
Get sponsored to go walkabout
Walk the coast path or traverse great cities on foot! If there’s a challenging walk you’ve always wanted to do – now’s the time to do it.
Kick a bad habit
Have you ever wanted to give something up but needed a good reason? Whatever vice you’re giving up, just make sure you get sponsored!
Clear the decks with a car boot sale or eBay bonanza
We all have lots of ‘stuff’ we don’t need. De-clutter and donate the proceeds!
Smartie Change Challenge
Hand out (full) tubes of Smarties to friends and family and once they’ve emptied the contents ask them to fill them with pound coins and return to you!
Round the world in the gym
Ever wanted to swim the channel but don’t fancy slathering yourself in goose fat? Then do it in your local pool! Give yourself a deadline to complete the distance and get sponsored. This also works with cycling, climbing and rowing challenges!
Install a swear box
A bl**dy great fundraiser to help you clean up your act!
Sing for a sixpence
Grab your guitar or pack up your piccolo and use your talents for a good cause.
Do you dare?
Think of some crazy things you never thought you’d have the guts to do. Then write them down, put them in a box and charge your friends to pick them out for you! You could travel around on a pogo stick, wear a wedding dress to work or speak in a french accent all day long… you get the idea!
