Buttercrane Appoints Nominated Charities
Following the launch of Buttercrane’s Nominated Charity Scheme, three local organisations have been appointed as charitable partners; the Samaritans, PIPS and Michaela Foundation.
These three charity partners will work with Buttercrane in 2015/16 to enhance awareness, stage events and grow their fundraising capacity.
Peter Murray centre manager said: “This year we had double the applications from the previous year. Choosing just one charity proved a difficult task – especially given the important services that each of these organisations provide to our local community. We’re delighted to be able to support these three wonderful organisations – Samaritans, PIPS and Michaela Foundation.”
Upcoming events include Samaritans 24/7 celebrations on 24th July; PIPS Not So Strictly Matinee (June) and Michaela Foundation Back to College event (Sept).
