We were inundated with nominations in each of our age group categories and we were blown away by each and every one of them! Our panel had a very difficult time choosing our winners.

So, without further ado, meet our 2018 Wings Award Winners, 11-13 age category!

Meet Joshua…

Joshua was nominated by his Dad for raising money for two local charities by taking part in a ‘3 Generations Swim’ with his Dad and Grandfather in choppy, cold, open waters. Despite having to receive treatment for mild hypothermia after, Joshua said it was a great experience! What an inspiration to the rest of us and still only 11!! #CelebrateMotivateInspire

Meet Mia…

Mia was nominated by her teacher at Loreto Grammar School, Omagh. Her teacher describes Mia as being a fantastic young carer for her younger sister. When Mia realised how much her sister enjoyed swimming, Mia felt compelled to undertake her Rookie Lifeguard Qualification, in order to ensure Ruby’s safety and well-being in the water. Wow, sisterly love at it’s best! #CelebrateMotivateInspire

Meet Kaylee…

Kaylee was nominated by her teacher at Killard House School, Donaghadee. Kaylee has overcame personal challenges to discover a huge talent for music and singing. She has since performed in London & America and has gone viral twice with her version of Hallelujah, most recently seen on America’s ‘Little Big Shots’. We were blown away by your voice and your amazing, positive attitude, Kaylee – remember us when you’re famous! #CelebrateMotivateInspire

We can’t wait for you to meet our other winners…more to come in the next few days!
