In just our second year of launching the Wings Awards, the interest in this initiative has continued to grow as we received outstanding nominations across all three age groups. Each nominee had their own special gifts and talents which made it incredibly hard to choose our winners! This category had 3 outstanding nominees and they are our 11-13 Wings Award Winners 2019!

Meet Elle…

Elle was nominated by her form teacher, Clare Doherty, for her outstanding achievements in ballet as well as going above and beyond to encourage others to be dedicated and achieve their best in all areas of life. At such a young age, Elle has excelled and is an amazing ballerina due to her dedication and hardworking nature! You’re going to be a star Elle! #CelebrateMotivateInspire

Meet St.Cecilia’s Digital Leaders…

St.Cecilia’s Digital Leaders were nominated by their teacher Joanne Nicholl.  They are a fantastic asset to their own school community and their local feeder Primary Schools. They give up a lot of their free time to up-skill their peers and fellow pupils. Similarly they work with a number of primary schools offering their skills. They will be the leaders of our 21st century world. We were blew away by these inspirational young ladies, keep up the good work girls! #CelebrateMotivateInspire

Meet the McCallion Sisters…

Grace, Chloe and Seánaín McCallion were nominated by Catherine O’Hara at the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. They inspire families who face challenges in life to keep on going by showing bravery and courage with a smile. Together they are changing lives through fundraising initiatives to gift other children with a unique type of care.
