Wings Awards Event Night 27th March 2019

Celebrating extraordinary young people within our local communities

“The Wings concept is something we created in order to support young people who were either determined to, or already had achieved great things in whatever passion they have in life. Our whole ethos is ‘Life Without Limits’ so we wanted to recognise and award people who are going out and actively living that ethos through using their God given skills and talents to the best of their ability. We are encouraging young people to use their wings and fly, get out there and show the world what they’ve got! By using our promotion and platforms, we can share their stories and positively inspire more and more young people”

On Wednesday 27th March, we held our Wings Awards event night in St. Mary’s University College, Belfast with the outstanding Annette Kelly (Little Penny Thoughts) as host and Mickey Harte presenting the Awards to each recipient. Every finalist in attendance was presented with a certificate and on hearing of their achievements, the audience was humbled and captivated in equal measure. Our nine bursary award winners are incredible, stand-out young people and we can’t wait to see where the future takes them!
